Stetley Board: a whiteboard for workshops
Sticky notes, pens and shapes, and timed rounds where everyone writes alone first, then reveals together. It opens in about a second and a half, even on a slow phone.

Why teams use it
- Everyone gets heard
- In a silent round each person writes alone. Until the bell, others see only blurred boxes, never your words; then every note appears at once and the vote begins.
- Anonymous when you want it
- Notes in an anonymous session carry no author, permanently. Nothing in Stetley shows who wrote them, and our server doesn’t store them against anyone.
- The clock keeps going
- The timer runs on our server, so a round moves on even if the organiser’s laptop goes to sleep.
- Fast on anything
- A board is ready to draw on in 1.5 s on a slow mobile connection with the processor slowed four times: our own measurement, with the method on the home page.

Good to know

- Turn a board’s frames into slides, one per frame, in Stetley Slides.
- Guests join with a link; no account needed to add notes.

Questions
Do I need an account to use Board?
No. Try a board in your browser with no sign-up. To share a board or keep it in your account, sign in with your email: we send a link and a code, with no password.
Is it good for retrospectives?
Yes: that’s what it was built for. The silent round stops the loudest voice setting the tone, and the retro templates (sailboat, start/stop/continue, 4Ls, mad/sad/glad and more) come with a step-by-step guide.
Can people add notes anonymously?
Yes. In an anonymous session a note carries no author, permanently, and isn’t stored against anyone’s account.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Board runs in any modern browser, and is tested on phones and tablets as well as laptops.
